La diseñadora Miriam Budet presentó en San Juan Moda su colección para la temporada otoño invierno 2017. “We R B’s” fue una propuesta inspirada en la polinización de las abejas donde se encargan de esparcir y provocar frutos. Lo que atrajo a Budet a este tema es la comparación que hace con los humanos que al igual que las abejas, tienen que esparcir para provocar frutos, no importando el tiempo que estén viviendo.
Viva y juvenil, esta moderna y hip propuesta tuvo el color amarillo como centro de la colección, unido al negro, blanco y el rojo. Hubo estampados florales, de abejas y lineales que alegraron las piezas. Detalles como abejas, cuero y encaje negros dieron dinamismo a las piezas para damas entre las que se incluyeron vestidos maxi, vestidos cortos, crop tops, pantalones de talle alto y pata ancha y jumpsuits. Por otro lado, piezas masculinas incluyeron los exclusivos bomber jackets de Budet. Los sombreros fueron gracias a Reyes Play y los cinturones y carteras en cuero estuvieron a cargo de la diseñadora.
El desfile fue celebrado en beneficio de la fundación Santa María de los Ángeles, entidad sin fines de lucro que ayuda a jóvenes embarazadas.

Fashion designer Miriam Budet presented in San Juan Moda her collection for the fall winter 2017 season. “We R B’s” was a proposal inspired by the pollination of the bees where they are responsible for spreading and begetting. What attracted Budet to this issue is the comparison she makes with humans who, like bees, have to scatter to bear fruit, no matter how long they are living.
Alive and youthful, this modern and hip proposal had the yellow color as the center of the collection, paired to black, white and red. There were floral, bees and linear prints that cheered the pieces. Details like bees, leather and black lace gave dynamism to the ladies’s pieces that included maxi dresses, short dresses, crop tops, high-waisted trousers and jumpsuits. On the other hand, men’s pieces included the exclusive Budet’s bomber jackets. The hats were thanks to Reyes Play and the leather belts and handbags were in charge of the designer.
The show was celebrated for the benefit of the Santa María de los Ángeles foundation, a non-profit organization that helps young pregnant women.
