En la Carpa Funkshion durante Miami Swim Week 2017, Maaji presentó un divertido y colorido desfile de moda Resort 2017. ‘Sunny Dream Inn’ fue inspirado por un ambiente tropical de escapada de fin de semana de ensueño. La propuesta introdujo siluetas con estampados geométricos florales y patrones realzados por una paleta de colores empapada de sol.
Las características espaldas cruzadas, cuellos altos y fantásticos, piezas con cortes aparecieron en todo con una combinación inesperada de motivos del mar y de los años 70′ los sport rib trim mezclados con crochet y jacquards texturizados. Los estilos versátiles de vestimenta con los hombros rizados o desnudos y los plunges profundos complementan sin esfuerzo los trajes de baño. Los bañadores de los hombres se destacaron por sus impresiones originales inspiradas en la marca.
La colección también mostró la línea de ropa activa Maaji con siluetas innovadoras junto con telas flexibles como jersey y nylon impreso, malla y un nuevo elemento de compresión. Blusas de dos piezas multifuncionales, sostenes con detalles en la espalda y tiras entremezcladas, pantalones con cremallera, leotardos inspirados de los años 80′ y chaquetas reversibles fueron sólo algunas de las nuevas piezas de la colección de ropa deportiva.

At the Funkshion Tent during Miami Swim Week 2017, a fun and colorful Resort 2017 fashion show was presented by Maaji. ‘Sunny Dream Inn’ was inspired by a tropical themed, dreamy weekend getaway vibe. The proposal introduced throw back silhouettes with floral geometric prints and patterns enhanced by a sun drenched color palette.
Signature cross backs, high necks and whimsical, cut out one pieces appeared throughout featuring an unexpected combination of sea motifs and 70’s sport rib trim mixed with crochet and textured jacquards. The versatile dress styles with ruffled or bare shoulders and deep plunges effortlessly complement the swim pieces. Men’s swim trunks stand out with the brand’s original retro-inspired prints in two silhouettes and complete the swimwear collection.
The collection also showcased Maaji’s activewear line featuring innovative silhouettes along with supple fabrics such as jersey and printed nylon, mesh and a new element of compression. Two-piece multi-functional tops, back detailed bras with intermingling straps, zippered bottoms, 80’s inspired leotards and reversible jackets are just some of the new staples in the activewear collection.
