Hammock Runway Show and Lycra Design Challenge | Swim Week 2016

Con más de 450 asistentes élites a la moda, Hammock mostró una variedad de marcas de trajes de baño de diseño de lujo en una pasarela  espectacular construida sobre la piscina del W Hotel durante Swim Week 2016. El evento contó con el LYCRA® Design Challenge, un concurso de diseño para las marcas en el Hammock Show para diseñar un traje de baño y/o cover up único usando tela roja que contiene fibra LYCRA® XTRA LIFE ™.
El vídeo de LYCRA® Challenge revelado fue de LYCRA® Mover y surfista profesional, Anastasia Ashley, marcó la pauta e introdujo la competencia. Diseños personalizados del rojo LYCRA® Xtra Life ™ mostrados por 10 marcas en la final del Hammock Runway Show fueron juzgados por su originalidad,  creatividad, un panel de tres jueces de la industria incluyendo la surfista profesional, Anastasia Ashley, la reconocida blogger de moda Kaitlynn Carter, y editora de moda de la revista Ocean Drive, Julia Ford Carther. Los ganadores fueron Acambha (primero), Solkissed de baño (segundo) y Honey Bee Swim (tercero). El ganador del primer lugar recibirá una sesión de fotos con todos los gastos pagos de la pieza ganadora que posteriormente será publicada en la edición de noviembre de Ocean Drive.

With more than 450 fashion-elite attendees, Hammock showcased a variety of luxury designer swimwear brands on a spectacular runway built over the W Hotel pool, during Swim Week 2016. The show featured the LYCRA® DESIGN Challenge, a design competition for brands in the Hammock show to design a unique swimsuit and/or cover-up using red fabric containing LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ fiber.
The LYCRA® Challenge video reveal from LYCRA® Mover and professional surfer, Anastasia Ashley set the tone and introduced the competition. Custom designs from made of red LYCRA® XTRA LIFE™ shown by 10 brands in the Hammock Runway Show finale and judged for originality, creativity and fit by a panel of three industry judges including professional surfer, Anastasia Ashley, renowned fashion blogger Kaitlynn Carter, and Ocean Drive magazine’s fashion editor, Julia Ford Carther. The winners were Acambha (first), Solkissed Swimwear (second) and Honey Bee Swim (third). The first place winner will receive an all-expenses-paid fashion photo shoot of the winning design look which will then be featured in the November issue of Ocean Drive.
