DECODIFICA EL CÓDIGO DE VESTIMENTA. Una vez te han ofrecido un puesto, consulta con Recursos Humanos sobre el código de vestimenta de la oficina: ¿son las piernas al descubierto adecuadas? ¿qué pasa con blusas sin mangas? Siempre es mejor obtener asesoramiento antes de empezar.
MANTENLO CLÁSICO. Construye tu guardarropa de trabajo alrededor de piezas atemporales como el “LBD” y chaquetas entalladas que puedan usarse durante todo el año. Sólo compra algunas de las piezas en tendencia en cada temporada.
MEZCLA TUS ACCESORIOS. Juguetones y divertidos, son la clave para mantener tu aspecto fresco. Elige algo pequeño pero interesante, como un brillante par de zapatos de tacón, un cinturón de colores o un collar llamativo.
CÓMODA, NO CASUAL. Algunas oficinas pueden ser más relajadas, pero siempre mantente alejada de cosas como pantalones cortos de jean y sandalias. Usted quiere sentirse bien, pero no quiere ver como si fuera a la playa.
NO ENSEÑES DEMASIADA PIEL. Uno nunca quiere parecer demasiado expuesto en el trabajo. Si vas a usar una camisilla porque es verano y hace calor, añade un pequeño “cardigan” para cubrir los hombros y los sujetadores del sostén. Las niñas tienden a vestirse para el clima y no para la oficina.
ASEGÚRESE DE QUE LA ROPA LE QUEDE BIEN. La forma de sentirse en su ropa puede afectar su nivel de confianza. Si usted está físicamente incómodo porque su ropa es demasiado apretada o floja, va a inquietarse y parecerá autoconsciente.
VAYA CON EL CABELLO Y MAQUILLAJE IMPECABLES. Su “look” de belleza siempre debe verse compuesto, pero no exagerado. Cosas como mucho maquillaje o el pelo mojado son un rotundo NO. Parecerá que usted no está tomando en serio su trabajo.
VÍSTASE COMO SI FUERA EL DÍA DE LA ENTREVISTA. Siempre es permitido errar por estar sobrevestidos. Si usted lleva sólo unos meses en un nuevo trabajo, usted todavía está siendo evaluado, por lo que es inteligente ser más cauteloso.

MIX UP YOUR ACCESSORIES. Playful extras are key to keeping your look fresh. Choose something small but interesting, like a bright pair of heels, a colorful belt or a statement necklace.
BE COMFORTABLE, NOT CASUAL. Some offices can be more laid-back, but always stay away from things like jean shorts and flip-flops. You want to feel good, but you don’t want to look like you’re headed to the beach.
DON’T BARE TOO MUCH SKIN. You never want to seem over-exposed at work. If you’re going to wear a stripy top because it’s summer and it’s hot out, add a little cardigan to cover your shoulders and your bra straps. Girls tend to dress for the weather and not for the office.
MAKE SURE YOUR CLOTHES FIT WELL. The way you feel in your outfit can affect your confidence level. If you’re physically uncomfortable because your clothes are to tight or loose, you’re going to fidget and appear self-conscious.
GO FOR POLISHED HAIR & MAKEUP. Your beauty look should always be pulled-together, but not overdone. Things like heavy makeup or wet hair are major no-nos. It looks like you aren’t taking your job seriously.
DRESS LIKE IT’S INTERVIEW DAY. Always err on the side of being overdressed. If you’re just a few months into a new job, you’re still being evaluated, so its smart to be more cautious.
