The fitness, health and wellness week known as The Retreat powered by MINI took over the health and wellness scene in Miami with top magazine editors, influencers, fitness instructors, activations in Miami’s most sought-out venues. Created by the founders of FUNKSHION, The Retreat brought together athleisure and wellness brands to an industry only
audience of press, influencers, buyers and local enthusiasts.
The Retreat powered by MINI kicked off with a private outdoor dinner where influencers and media gathered at the Nautilus Hotel Rooftop. The long table was set with an amazing Miami Beach view. Guests ate a healthy meal while enjoying the sunset.
The night arrived and invitees celebrated with a kick-off Forbidden Beach party with exclusive performances by Maty Noyes and Parson James.
Fashion for Breakfast was served at the Soho Beach House on Friday, May 4th to an exclusive group of journalists, influencers and brand ambassadors discussing the art of indfulness with Bianca Cheah of Sportluxe, Gilles Souteyrand of Body by Gilles, Nima Taherzadeh of Heroine Sport and Myk Likhov of Modern OM in conversation with Alexis Parente of InStyle Magazine shared their personal journey and stories.
Amanda Kloots brought The Dance Class to Miami, teaching her smoothest moves at the Design District’s Paradise Plaza. A panel discussion focused on nutrition and wellness segued, with panelists, Tiffany Noelani and Cristina Powter founders of Chill by Will, Amanda Kloots, Gilles Souteyrand, Lia Ames of Lunchology, Hugette Montesinos of DISfunkshion Magazine in conversation with Magda Lopez. A fitness class presented by Cellucor with Ron Boss Everline followed with Cellucor’s newest product: pre-workout
energy drink.
Miami said Aloha! with Kopari beauty as the coconut infused line hosted an influencer dinner complete with DJ May Kwok and hula dancers at the Soho Beach House. Following dinner, since Miami knows how to sizzle, Samantha Ronson and Ocean Park Standoff performed by the Soho Beach House rooftop pool for The Retreat.
