In the beginning of the year, when the Golden Globes kicked off award season we were able to catch a few stylish outfits from our favorite celebrities. One in particular that stood out for me was Tyler James William’s look. He wore a tan single breasted pinstripe suit with a black tie and accessorized with an elegant white flower on his lapel. The well-fitted suit and flared pants seemed like the ideal combination for the actor. It had me thinking that perhaps, just like many other moments in history, women can pull it off too.
Oversized
I’m going to need you to trust me on this one. A look like this can be worn as it is, I understand there’s an obsession with oversize blazers and I don’t mind. But just consider having it altered to cinch in at the waist. You’ll look like a boss. Like you know what you want and you know exactly how to get it. This is the energy we all need for the rest of the year.
Glamorous
You don’t take no for an answer and I love that for you. The polished look of navy blue paired with gold pinstripes give an alluring yet serious impression. Imagine walking around wearing this, you’ll command respect and evoke jealousy. Because we all want to be her.
Sleek
This one is more professional and proper. You can handle anything and you deserve a long overdue raise. It can be paired with pointed-toe heels or patent leather loafers, either way you’ll look chic. Don’t forget complementing the outfit with a thin necklace right over the tie, like the Abbot Elementary actor did, it’s the perfect way to finish off this attire.
Streetstyled
For those that love being fashionable but don’t follow the rules. The dauntless kind should opt for a rebellious all black ensemble. You could opt for a white shirt to peep for a bit of elegance. The gold plated flower will stand out while creating balance. I imagine the pointiest of heels for this look because you are fierce.
