Letitia Wright was spotted among many stylish celebrities with a past trend many may still not approve. It was none other than a sophisticated version of the popular Y2K dress with pants. The look featured a strapless dress embroidered with crystals paired with black satin trousers. The ensemble that is by the designer brand Prada was accessorized with a triangle silver bag that matched the embellishment of the dress.

This actress is one to keep an eye on. Although she’s sometimes overlooked, she never disappoints with her style. For this instance she gave a little push to a trend that was already on its way back. I understand many have dreaded its arrival but an elegant twist its just what it needed. Since the weather might still be cold in some places it’s a good bet to try it out for yourselves. It’s a one of a kind dress but there are many options that’ll give you that effect. For instance try a shimmering silver sequin dress. It should be midi or just near the knees. Consider large sequins which can make you stand out a bit more.

Moving on to the twist that makes this look unforgettable. The pants Wright used were more on the slim/straight style but a wider leg can also work. If your dress of preference isn’t too tight I suggest to opt for wider style trousers. Also, a bit of elongated puddle pants can do this look justice.

To finish this ensemble, a silver bag and pointed toe heels are a must. They are as essential as the pants to making this look an elevated and refined alternative to its predecessor. The bag should follow the shape of the crystals or sequins of your dress. As for the heels can be kitten if you chose longer pants. But, If you prefer an ankle length i suggest a higher pair to balance the overall silhouette.
