El diseñador puertorriqueño Rubén Darío presentó su colección para la temporada de otoño/invierno 2016 en San Juan Moda. Titulada “L’hymne a L’amour”, la propuesta se inspiró en esta famosa canción de la gran Edith Piaf. Las piezas fueron trabajadas bajo la sombra de la época victoriana y la belleza de un jardín a la media noche con siluetas que rememoran esa época, pero de manera contemporánea. Otro de los toques que hicieron la colección especial fue la colaboración de los talentosos estudiantes de la escuela Central High, quienes crearon y plasmaron en los textiles los estampados únicos de cada pieza. Los clásicos blanco y negro combinados con gris, rosado, violeta, azul y verde en una variedad de sus tonos dieron vida a la pasarela. Darío confeccionó las femeninas prendas con taffeta, crepé, satín y organza.

Puerto Rican designer Rubén Darío presented his collection for the fall/winter 2016 season in San Juan Moda. Titled “L’hymne a l’amour”, the proposal was inspired by this famous song by the great Edith Piaf. The pieces were worked under the shade of the Victorian era and the beauty of a garden at midnight with silhouettes that recall that era, but in a contemporary way. Another touch that made the collection special was the collaboration of the talented students of Central High School, who created and inserted on the textiles the unique prints of each piece. The classic black and white combined with gray, pink, violet, blue and green in a variety of their tones gave life to the catwalk. Dario made the feminine garments with taffeta, crepe, satin and organza.
