Sometimes a cold drink is not good enough to beat the heat; something colder is needed. Do you remember when you were a child, what was a the one thing not missing in the fridge on a hot day? Yes, ice pops, or maybe you know it freezes pops or popsicles. It all depends on the country, for example, in Puerto Rico, it’s called “Esquimalitos”.
It is a frozen treat that comes in a clear plastic tube. To enjoy it you can turn the top off and gradually taste the sweetness or break the bar in two half. Once the ice is inside your mouth the heat instantly cools down.
Making your own homemade popsicles is easy to do with just about any fruit you have on hand. Then, just add everything to a blender and puree until completely liquid. They take just a minute to prepare and a few hours to freeze.

There are people that like to buy pre-made alcoholics pops, but since we have more time at home you can learn how to make homemade ice pop recipes. All you have to do is mix the ingredients, then transfer them to popsicle bags and pop them in the freezer. Remember: you don’t need to have a lot of culinary skills to make delicious recipes.
