One of the most anticipated shows during Miami Swim Week is Baes and Bikinis. The brand, designed by Stephanie Princi, has only been on the market for several years and has already positioned itself as one of the favorite shows by the public.

After the 2019 Resort show held at the Paraiso Fashion Fair, former Funkshion, we went behind the scenes and talked with the designer about the runway and we present it below:

As explained by Princi, the collection was inspired by high fashion and couture. The designer wanted to excel in Miami this season and she did it; adding drama with long skirts and high hats. There were three colors chosen: white, black and red. We were able to appreciate the characteristic crochet and fabrics that have made Baes and Bikinis famous, this time on a more elegant level without leaving behind its sensual aspect. Likewise, resort pieces were incorporated as asymmetrical dresses and blouses with voluminous sleeves. Without a doubt it was an alive and fun show that came out of the traditional mold.
