By Crystal Aponte Del Valle, Intern

One of the greatest pleasures in life is traveling, but there is no better satisfaction than having a suitcase full of styles and accessories that will make you look spectacular on your vacation, what should you pack for the trip?

When we plan a vacation, we look for places that offer us a pleasant and memorable experience, and what better than a tropical Caribbean spot.

The Dominican Republic is definitely a destination that you must have on your bucket list. Within the Republic is Puerto Plata, one of the cities with the highest tourist activity.

It is not only distinguished by its beaches, but also by its tropical atmosphere and its gastronomy. The good thing about it is that you don’t have to worry about the weather, as it will always be warm and cool and it will not matter in the season you visit.

Wearing the right clothes can get everyone’s attention. The least we want is to compromise our comfort on a vacation.

Here is a list of seven outfits that will make you look spectacular when it comes to dressing and feel like a Jetsetter when traveling to this country.

  1. Swimsuits

No matter the style, what matters is to wear one that makes you feel good about yourself and at the same time, look fresh and comfortable for a day at the beach.  If you want to look polished, go for a minimal style in a solid color.

  1. Hats

Hats can never be missing when visiting the Caribbean. Protect your skin from the sun while adding flare to your look.

Note: If you are thinking of traveling in the fall, the Bucket Hat is one of the trends this season. Do not miss it!

  1. Shorts

Shorts are cool and will never go out of style. Use them at any time of the day to feel comfortable and cool on your stay.  Go for a bermuda if you have long legs or a high waist short if you want to make your legs longer.

  1. Sunglasses

Oversize sunglasses are In for Fall. Give your outfit a retro spin with a charming style in white or a frameless one with a pastel color lens.

  1. Dresses

Don’t forget to bring flowy dresses for both day and night. When lounging through the day, a short dress is the perfect alternative. If you are going for dinner, a maxi dress is a good alternative. It will keep your style comfortable and fresh, but elegant at the same time. You can use them with flat sandals or with comfortable heels.

  1. Shoes

Bring footwear that is comfortable for walking or spending the day. Think of a stylish sandal that can be used at all times, whether for the day or for the night. You are going to a tropical place where comfort is going to be the most important thing for you and your rest.

  1. Purses

Don’t forget the most important accessory for women, the purse. Take your partner everywhere with the most important things, specially your mask, hand sanitizer and alcohol. A straw or raffia tote bag will give you the tropical twist your outfit is looking for.
