La diseñadora Sonia Rivera presentó “SR Divas of the 80’s”, su desfile para la temporada de otoño invierno 2017 en la pasada edición de San Juan Moda. El negro, tal y como en colecciones anteriores, fue el color que dominó la pasarela, perfectamente combinado con verde, turquesa, rosa pálido y el champagne. La colección ofreció una propuesta para que fue de lo semi-formal a lo formal para damas y caballeros.
Los vestidos de cóctel, tanto ceñidos al cuerpo como fluidos constituyeron gran parte de las piezas, así como los vestidos largos. Asimismo, Rivera ofreció diferentes variaciones de conjuntos de blusas y chaquetas pareados a faldas o pantalones. La diversidad de la colección estuvo en la exposición de kaftans y jumpsuits para damas. Por otro lado, las piezas para caballeros estuvieron compuestas de camisas de manga larga combinadas con pantalones de vestir negro.
Inspirada en las musas que por más de 30 años la han ayudado a crear sus colecciones, Rivera tuvo la oportunidad de incluir a muchas de ellas -y ellos- en la pasarela.

The collection offered a proposal that went from semi-formal to the formal for both ladies and gentlemen.
Cocktail dresses, both body hugging and flowing, made up a large part of the pieces, as well as long dresses. In addition, Rivera offered different set variations sets of blouses and jackets matched with skirts or pants. The diversity of the collection was in the exhibition of kaftans and jumpsuits for the ladies. On the other hand, the menswear pieces were composed of long sleeve shirts combined with black dress pants.
Inspired by the muses that have helped her create her collections for more than 30 years, Rivera had the opportunity to include many of them on the runway.
