Warming up our engines for what will come this summer, the Italian designer based in Puerto Rico Rosa Elía presented her  collection “Goal”. Inspired by the soccer world cup, this proposal innovates on the West Fashion Week 2017 runway presenting a fair balance between casual and formal wear. And not satisfied with this, the designer premieres the incorporation of menswear on her catwalk expanding her offer and providing more options to the modern man.

The first section began with prints alluding to soccer. An abstract pattern marked the transition from causal to formal, symbolizing the mix of cultures and countries that come together for the world cup. Followed, cocktail and long dresses showed Russian opulence implemented to the proposal with rich textiles, and details such as crystals, lace and fringes in all strong and metallic shades. There was everything from fluid to tight cuts marking the female silhouette and transparencies to expose the skin in an elegant way. A striking palette of colors used by Russian high society introduced red, blue, black and gold to complete the atmosphere of ultra elegance and sophistication.
