Launching in July 2019, Nu Wave Swim will elevate Miami Swim Week by offering an experiential multi-day platform and hub from established brands to young designers to showcase their latest swim collections. Led by partners Seth Browarnik, founder of social photo agency World Red Eye, and Michele Addison, previously with Modern Luxury, and in alignment with SwimShow- the most important swimwear tradeshow in the industry, Nu Wave Swim will create a tropical oasis at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden from July 11th to July 14th that will house a variety of wellness activations, runway shows, fashion presentations, cocktail parties, after-parties and more.
By hosting at the Miami Beach Botanical Garden and implementing a plastic-free initiative, Nu Wave Swim has chosen an enchanting venue to debut its deep commitment to sustainability and ocean preservation.
Wellness activations will begin at 7am to 10am, featuring programming by the renowned spiritual fitness center, The Sacred Space Miami, and Barry’s Bootcamp. Soho Beach House will host a “Fashion for Breakfast” on-site at the garden on Saturday, July 13th with swimwear designer panelist such as Amahlia Stevens, Tori Praver, Red Carter, and Rod Beattie.
All on-site food and beverage will be led by James Beard award winning celebrated chef and restauranteur Michael Schwartz.
Headlining brands that will present their newest swim collections at Nu Wave Swim include Vitamin A, Tori Praver Swim, Gottex, Revival, Red Carter, Bleu Rod Beattie, and Parke & Ronen. Nu Wave Swim offers designers a variety of presentation packages – from conception to production to backstage assistance to guest list management for designers– in order to present their collections in a unique and engaging way. Designers and brand partners will have access to editors, buyers, VIPs, influencers and socials.
Bar Bevy by GROOT Hospitality will take over the garden’s Banyan Room for its VIP lounge – where guests will be able to sip on specialty cocktails while waiting for the next show.
