Closing one of the expected nights of San Juan Moda in the majestic ballroom of the Antiguo Casino of Puerto Rico, Puerto Rican designer Marcos Carrazana presented his fashion show. The collection for the fall winter 2018 season was titled “Winter is Coming”, which was inspired by the acclaimed television series “Game of Thrones”. As we published recently, we visited Carrazana’s workshops and talked there about the collection.

With the room full to capacity and a lobby where there was not room for a soul, Carrazana began its show for women. The elegant proposal presented evening gowns in dark tones such as black, purple and burgundy besides the metallic gold. The pieces were full of details and hand embroidery, representing the splendor of the royal garments. With the same fascination that we feel when seeing the events celebrated by the international royal families, we welcomed this autumnal collection that adapts well to our tropical climate and can now be used in the spring. For the first time in a fashion show, the designer created the accessories used by the models. Each earring and headpiece was made specifically for the outfit, taking care of every detail and making them complement perfectly.
