Frankies Bikinis presented their Resort 2017 collection at Swimmiami during Swim Week 2017. The Wet Pool at the W South Beach Hotel became center stage for the fun, young and free fashion show. Designer Francesca Aiello blasted the runway with energy, showing guests the new collection inspired by the 60’s. There were lots of sexy bikinis, body paintings , flowers, signs, belly-bottom jeans and attitude. Aiello wants woman to feel feel beautiful and empowered when they put on a Frankies bikini, and confirms that nothing says female empowerment like the 1960’s.
With original prints, criss-cross and crochet, Frankies Bikinis possitions itself once again among the favorites shows at Swim Week.
“I’m always inspired by my hometown Malibu and the carefree girls who live there and who are always running around in their bikinis,” Aiello said. “We have five new silhouettes this year. One of my favorites is called the ‘Mimi’ and it’s a halter top but we twisted it up by doing a cut out in the center to make it sexier and then we added the Frankies crochet touch up top”.
