El novel diseñador puertorriqueño Kelvin Giovannie hizo su debut como diseñador en su propio show como parte de la celebración de San Juan Moda en su edición para otoño/invierno 2015. “Nuphar” fue el titulo de la romántica colección. La clara paleta de colores seleccionada por el ganador de la primera edición de Revelación Moda fue compuesta por el blanco, el crema, el “blush”, el “champagne” metálico, el gris, el “taupe” y toques de negro.
La colección, inspirada en los pantanos, fue progresando en el orden de las tonalidades de color, de claro a oscuro. Las femeninas piezas resaltaron la cintura. Pudimos ver el nuevo enfoque que el diseñador le dio al “cut out trend, llevándolo a lugares inusuales como en el centro de la espalda, el centro del abdomen y hasta algunos rellenos de tela metálica.
Vimos variadas colas largas en los vestidos. Los cinturones y sombreros fueron creados por Frolain Millinery. Las modelos llevaron su cabello recogido en un moño alto.

The nobel Puerto Rican designer Kelvin Giovannie made his debut as a designer in his own show as part of the celebration of San Juan Moda in its edition for fall/winter 2015. “Nuphar” was the title of the romantic collection. The light color palette selected by the winner of the first edition of “Revelación Moda” was composed by white, cream, blush, metallic champagne, gray, taupe and touches of black.
The collection, inspired by the swamps, was progressing in the order of the color tones, from light to dark. The female waist was highlighted. We could see the new approach that the designer gave to the cut out trend, leading it to unusual places like in the middle of the back, the center of the abdomen and even some stuffed with metallic fabric.
We saw long tails at various dresses. Belts and hats were created by Frolain Millinery. The models wore their hair in a high bun.
